I am an artist working in Moorooduc on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria, Australia.

I completed a Bachelor degree in Fine Arts Drawing at the Victorian College of the Arts in 2006. Since then I have maintained my personal creative practice whilst also working as a branding graphic designer. In recent years I have established my studio in Moorooduc and returned to my passion of artmaking and drawing. Currently I am exploring a range of mediums which include drawing on paper, painting and working on ceramics.

My work is figurative, inspired by the presence and energy of people and the physicality of the human body. This subject matter allows me to explore the fragility of the human experience, the flux and nuance of our inner thoughts, feelings and emotions. In particular I am interested in exploring ideas relating to the embodiment, expression and divinity of the ‘feminine’.

I love the process and evidence of drawing. For me it is such an immediate and raw form of capturing truth. My preference generally is to work large-scale, physically and energetically being one with the artwork. In turn the scale offers the opportunity to be immersed in the macro and micro detail, and experience the energy of the large-scale artwork.
